Aishwarya Rai

The formative artistic project, Mosaic Young Talent, born to promote the talented young artists coming from the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, is a unique expression of contemporary neo-pop culture, and has the merit of merging, in series of exhibitions, numerous international and italian talents who have succeeded in combining technical expertise with creative surges of authentic art. “Fifty Faces” is a broad well-structured collection of remarkable mosaic portraits, dedicated to personages from the world of the arts and cinema who have become icons for contemporary society.

Throughout history humans havwe thrived on Storytelling. And when these stories are told by talented actors and actresses who embody the characters represented, we are enthralled. Through the magic of the silver screen the actors provide us with an escape, and they win our hearts! Thanks to them we get angry, we smile, we cry, we laugh, and we dream. Their personas are forever imprinted in our minds. We know Marilyn Monroe is seductive, and Heath Ledger is disturbing. Rowan Atkinson is amusing and Hugh Laurie is intense. Audrey Tautou is saucy and Uma Thurman presents a challenging glare. It’s impossible to remain indifferent to the varied expressions and characters portrayed.
